How To Use Amazon Prime Video - Tutorial For Beginners (2020)
To use Amazon Prime Video, you can either go to www.primevideo.com or you can go to the Amazon homepage, and in the top right corner, select "Your Prime".

Then scroll down and under "Prime Video" select "Watch Now".

The Prime Video homepage shows various options for you to watch, which includes Amazon Prime Originals, recommended titles, popular options, and more.

At the top of your screen you will see tabs that you can use to discover different titles.

Under the "Store" tab, you will find movies and TV shows that you can rent or buy for an additional fee.

The next tab is the "Channels" tab.

Amazon Prime gives you access to various channels that you can subscribe to, to live stream or watch on demand. Subscriptions to these channels are often an additional fee.

By selecting the channel guide, you can view a full guide of what is streaming live throughout the day.

Next is the "Categories" tab.

Here you can sort through titles divided by TV, Movies, Kids, and Included With Prime.

Under each category, titles are then also divided by recommended, most popular options, genre, and other sub-topics. If you find a topic that you like, you can always select the "See More" option beside the topic name to see a full list of the titles in that category.

If you want to learn more about a title, simply click the title thumbnail and you will be provided with a summary of the title, information about its cast, and if it's a TV show, a list of episodes in the series.

If you want to watch the title later, you can add it to your Watchlist by clicking the "Watchlist" button, or you can select "Play" to watch now.

Once you are watching the title, there are screen commands that you can use.

In the top right corner, you have:
Subtitles - to enable or change the language of your subtitles
Settings - to alter the video quality
Volume - to increase, decrease, or mute the volume of the video
Fullscreen - to expand the video into fullscreen

In the left corner, you will see a drop down beside the title. This will display a list of actors appearing in the scene.

By clicking "View All", you can find out the following information about the title you are watching:
Scenes - view a list of scene titles in the episode and jump to various scenes as you watch
Cast - view a list of cast members.
Characters - view a list of character names and the actors playing them
Music - view a list of music used in the title

Finally, if you are watching a TV show and want to skip to the next episode, you can do so by selecting "Next Episode" in the bottom right corner.

The final tab is "My Stuff". Under this tab, you will find your Watchlist with any titles that you have added to watch at a later time. You'll also find Purchases and Rentals with any titles that you've rented or bought through Amazon Prime.

That is how to use Amazon Prime Video!
