8 years old Kallu alias Deva Nandha is in utmost desparation & desire to meet her God Lord Ayyapan. Her father promised that this time he will take to Sabarimala but destiny is written different for Kallu and how Kallu fulfills her wish forms rest part of the movie. There are few movies where we cannot observe any negativity and Malikappuram is one of it.
Malikappuram is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language action drama film directed by Vishnu Sasi Shankar and starring Unni Mukundan in the lead role. The film was released in theatres on 30 December 2022. The story revolves around an 8-year-old girl, Kallu, who decides to go to Sabarimala Temple located at the Sabarimala hill inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve in Kerala, India.
